When people talk about scaling organizations and taking them to the next level, they are often talking about bringing in foundation funders and major donors to close the gap.

At The Fundraiser School, we’re talking about scaling from the grassroots, because we believe that organizations without significant funding from everyday people don’t have a mandate to exist.

This Intensive will teach you how to run a week-long grassroots fundraising drive that has the power to scale your organization—by us, for us.

  • This course has five live-taught modules.

    1) History of the fundraising drive

    2) Fundraising as distributed organizing

    3) Weeklong drive logistics

    4) Your first weeklong drive implementation

    5) Tips and tricks

  • This course has one clear outcome: Participants leave the course with the knowledge to run and the confidence to execute a weeklong drive at their organization.

  • 1) A small organization looking to grow sustainably.

    2) Large organizations feeling stuck in their current model of major donors and grants fundraising.

    3) A membership or base led organization.

    4) An organizations led by organizers who don’t have traditional fundraising skills—yet.

    5) An organizations serious about growing their base of donors or diversifying their funding.

  • Kirstie is Principal and Founder of Build Power Strategies and Head Coach of The Fundraiser School. She has replicated this model with her clients and shown that the model can be successful for all different kinds of organizations if they’re serious about power building.

  • We ask about access in all of our sign-up forms. We can accommodate most needs (needing slides a certain size, needing alt text, etc). We also can accommodate closed captioning.
